Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: There were two games played today and both were mismatches. Pal-Mac scored ten goals in the first quarter and defeated Cathedral Prep with fourteen players making the offensive book. In a closer game, Waterloo took an 8-7 halftime lead and scored five goals in the third to win their game with East United. Anthony DeFrancesco and Dillon McCann each had five goals for the Blue Devils.

Thursday: DAY IN REVIEW: In the closet game of the night, Schroeder defeated Irondequoit 11-10. This is the third overtime game of the season for the Eagles (and the first that they have lost). AJ Fiorio scored his second goal of the game with 2:49 remaining in overtime with a feed from Connor Ball to give the Warriors the win.

Thursday: DAY IN REVIEW: There were four one-goal games today as HF-L beat Spencerport, Aquinas bested Livonia-Avon in overtime, Waterloo beat B-H and Brighton defeated Schroeder. Pittsford played a close game but lost to Victor and Thomas remained undefeated with thweir win over Hilton.

# 1259  Penn Yan Wins 22nd Title

Penn Yan won their twenty-second Section Five Title (seventh consecutive) with a 13-6 win over Waterloo.  The Mustangs scored the first four goals and held the Indians scoreless for the entire first quarter.  Waterloo scored four of the last five goals to pull the score closer than the game played.  A key component to the Mustang victory was midfielder Connor Fingar at the face-off draw.  Fingar won nearly all the face-offs and was named Class D All Tournament MVP.

# 1192  Waterloo Scores Final Three in Win

Waterloo scored the final three goals to defeat Bloomfield-Honeoye 6-4.  The Indians also scored the first three goals to take the early lead.  All four of the Pride’s goals were scoring in a stretch spanning the second and third quarters.
